Two big reasons.
First, creating this blog is basically my response to this mini-entry I wrote a few months back after my first trip to Phuket. Whenever I travel, I carry around a pocket notebook where I would scribble random thoughts that range from alcohol, clothes, and food to poetry, love, and destiny. Once I put the pen down, I have that refreshing feeling that another part of myself has been introduced to me. And self-discovery (or rediscovery) is always a good thing.
However, I found it quite sad (and to an extent - pathetic) how I could find ways to fully express myself when I am out of my usual habitat (i.e. Singapore), away from the daily drumbeat. I could have chosen to limit all of these thoughts to my journal (which I will still continue to update, by the way), but I chose to make a virtual version of it instead. Which brings me to my second reason.
One of the biggest things that I have done for myself in the past two years is to start caring less of what other people would say. And I'd like to continue it by having this blog. No privacy options. No journal lock codes. Just raw pieces of my mind that I want share with the world without seeking approval nor acceptance.
So yes, I'm back in the blogging world. Most likely for good :)
